Protect trans Nebraskans. Fight against invasive gender checks.

Every single Nebraskan deserves freedom, dignity, and safety. A ballot initiative named “Fairness for Girls” attempts to strip important, personal decisions away from parents, schools, and medical professionals and hand them over to politicians in order to ban transgender students from participating in school sports and to conduct gender checks. This kind of government overreach does not make families safer or stronger.

This initiative puts minors at risk of invasive inspections and humiliating scrutiny, putting politicians in bathrooms. Instead of focusing on the actual issues impacting Nebraska families every day and helping kids thrive, the FFG initiative is more concerned with inserting the government into family health care.

Nebraskans value personal freedom and the rights of families to make private decisions without political interference. Every parent wants to see their child have the opportunity to participate in the activities that help them thrive. This initiative isn’t about sports; it’s about inserting the government into families’ health care choices.

Signatures have been submitted for the ballot initiative “Fairness for Girls.”

Parents know their kids best, and Nebraska families are under enough pressure as is without politicians restricting their choices to help their children thrive. Speak out against government overreach and invasive inspections on minors. Together, we can protect our children.
